TopCare is a leading care provider offering home care and nursing care at home. We support individuals to live independently at home and provide professional training for healthcare staff.

Yes. TopCare Limited is registered in the Isle of Man (132950C) and is licensed by the Ise of Man Government, Registrations and Inspections Unit as a home care and a nursing care provider. TopCare Training is accredited by Training Qualifications UK (TQUK) as an approved training centre.

TopCare is an award winning company that is owned and managed by qualified and experienced Registered Nurses. Sal Heddi our Founder and Registered Manager worked for the NHS in A&E and Acute units as well as in the Private Sector managing a Nursing/Residential Home and has more than 15 years of experience in care.  For the past 9 years he has been working in home care bringing this knowledge and experience to TopCare.  Our approach combines professionalism, compassion, and consistency. We provide fully trained and DBS checked carers/nurses, transparent communication, and 24/7 support to clients and families. Our excellent inspection reports including feedback from our clients highlight the excellent standards of care we deliver.

Yes, we provide both.  Live-in care means a carer resides in your home providing continuous support.  While 24 hour care involves a team of carers attending at different times to ensure round the clock care.

All carers undergo background checks, DBS check, reference checks, and professional training before joining our team.

Yes.  We match carers based on your preferences, needs, and personality to ensure a comfortable and consistent care experience.

We provide home care and nursing care, live-in care, respite care, and specialist care for conditions such as epilepsy, and physical disabilities. We can provide short visits, to longer shifts, overnight care and full 24/7 care.

We operate a 24/7 on-call service for urgent matters or last-minute support. There is always a member of management on call happy to assist.

Yes, our carers receive specialist dementia and complex needs training to provide sensitive, specialist support.

Absolutely. We review care plans regularly and adjust them whenever your needs change.

All carers are DBS checked, fully trained, insured, and supervised through spot checks and quality reviews. All carer notes are checked daily by management.

Carers can assist with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration or reminders, companionship, shopping, light housekeeping, mobility and attending appointments.

Invoices issued monthly, and payments can be made via bank transfer, cheque, or standing order.

We can guide you on local authority funding, direct payments, or private payment options.

Yes, our care managers we carry out an initial review after two weeks to ensure you’re happy with the service.

Yes, we encourage introductory meetings so clients feel comfortable with their carers.

No. You can contact us directly to arrange care; no referral is required.

Simply contact us to schedule a free care needs assessment. Our care manager will visit your home, discuss your needs, and create a tailored care plan for you to consider.  This is a free visit and there is obligation to proceed with TopCare.

We offer a wide range of tests including general health checks, cholesterol, thyroid, diabetes, hormone levels, vitamin deficiency, infection screens, and many more.

Absolutely. If you’ve received a blood test kit from a private service (e.g., Medichecks, Thriva, etc.), we can collect the sample and handle the process for you.


Yes. All our blood tests are carried out by qualified nurses following strict clinical standards to ensure accuracy, safety, and comfort.

If you use a private lab test, results are usually ready within 24–72 hours, depending on the type of test. We’ll share them securely by email or through your preferred method.

Most appointments can be arranged within 24–48 hours. For urgent requests, same-day visits may be possible depending on nurse availability.

You can book online, call our office, or send us a message through our website or WhatsApp. We’ll confirm your appointment and location preference.

No, you don’t need a GP referral. We can organise both GP-requested and private tests. If you’re unsure which tests you need, our nurse can guide you based on your symptoms or concerns.

You can choose what works best for you:

At home: Convenient and private service in the comfort of your home.
At work: We can visit your workplace at a time that suits you.
At our clinic in Douglas: You can book an appointment at our professional clinical setting.

We provide three convenient options:

With a GP or hospital form: You can bring your referral or request form, and we will collect your blood sample accordingly.
With a blood test kit: If you already have a test kit from a private provider or online service, our nurses can collect the sample and prepare it for dispatch.
Without a request form: If you don’t have a form or kit, our clinicians can advise you on suitable tests and arrange everything for you through our trusted laboratory partners.
