What began in 2019 as a relatively small home/nursing care company has grown under his leadership into an award winning organisation that now includes TopCare Home Care, TopCare Nursing, 1st Choice Home Care, TopCare Training, and TopCare Wellness, each dedicated to supporting individuals and professionals across the health, care, and wellbeing sectors.

Sal’s journey is rooted in a belief that quality care starts with a well-trained and experience team who pride themselves on delivering excellent care. His hands-on leadership style, focus on continuous improvement, and strong sense of responsibility have helped TopCare earn a trusted reputation for reliability, empathy, and professionalism.

With over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Grace Mendones brings exceptional clinical expertise and compassionate leadership to her role as Care Manager at TopCare Nursing.

Grace has been an integral part of the TopCare team for more than five years, during which she has played a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of care and ensuring every client receives person-centred, professional support. Her extensive background in nursing allows her to manage complex care needs with confidence and empathy, while also guiding and mentoring the care team with dedication and respect.

As Administration Manager at TopCare Group, Christine O’Hanlon plays a key role in supporting the Management Team and overseeing the administrative operations across all TopCare Divisions.

Richard Lacadin brings over 20 years of dedicated experience in the health and social care sector. With a strong clinical background and extensive frontline expertise, Richard has supported individuals across a wide range of care settings, always prioritising dignity, safety, and compassionate support.

Before joining TopCare, Richard worked as a Clinical Trainer, delivering high-quality, hands-on training to carers and healthcare professionals. His expertise spans medication management, complex care, personal care, moving and handling, safeguarding, and best-practice standards for supporting people in their own homes.

At TopCare, Richard is a key member of our Training Team and also serves as a Team Leader, guiding staff to provide safe, person-centred care. He is passionate about developing carers’ clinical skills and confidence, ensuring they are fully equipped to deliver exceptional home-based care to every client.

Christine Bulacso is a highly experienced and compassionate Senior Carer who plays a key role within the Homecare team. Known for her professionalism, empathy, and dedication, Christine ensures that every client receives the highest standard of personalised care and support.

With many years of hands-on experience in the care sector, Christine has developed a deep understanding of the needs of those she supports. She is valued not only for her clinical competence but also for her kindness, reliability, and positive attitude.

With over 15 years of experience in home care, Katie Watson is one of TopCare’s most dedicated and trusted Senior Carers. Her extensive experience and compassionate nature make her an invaluable member of the Home Care team, where she provides exceptional support to clients and guidance to fellow carers.

Katie is passionate about helping people maintain their independence and dignity at home. She takes great pride in delivering care that is not only professional and reliable but also filled with warmth and respect.

Albert Champ brings a wealth of clinical expertise to TopCare, with an extensive background as a registered nurse and in a previous role as Lead of a Renal Unit. With years of experience caring for patients with complex medical needs, Champ has developed a deep understanding of advanced nursing care, renal conditions, and long-term health management.

Throughout his nursing career, he led multidisciplinary teams, supported patients through critical and ongoing treatments, and ensured high standards of safety, compassion, and clinical excellence.

As a Team Leader within our Home Care team, Champ now brings this specialist knowledge directly to our clients’ homes. His insight into complex care, chronic conditions, and patient-centred nursing enables him to guide our carers and ensure each client receives safe, tailored, and clinically informed support.

Harold is an experienced care professional with strong leadership skills and a solid background in managing complex care needs. He holds a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care, equipping him with advanced knowledge in managing teams, safeguarding, and delivering high-quality care.

Having worked with patients with complex need both in the Isle of Man and the UK, Harold has developed a deep understanding of personalised care planning, risk management, and supporting individuals with varied health conditions. His experience spans home care, community support, and specialist care environments, giving him a comprehensive view of what exceptional care should look like.

As a Team Leader at TopCare, Harold brings his management expertise and hands-on clinical experience to guide and support our carers. His calm approach, strong leadership, and commitment to high standards ensure our home care team delivers safe, consistent, and person-centred support to every client.

Ibrahim Gag is a dedicated and highly skilled care professional with extensive experience supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviours in community settings. Having worked across various community-based roles, Brahim has developed expertise in person-centred support, communication techniques, and positive behaviour management. He is committed to helping clients maintain independence while ensuring their environments remain safe, comfortable, and consistent.

Karen Hoover is an experienced Paediatric Specialist Nurse with a distinguished background in both clinical practice and education. Before joining TopCare Nursing, she completed her Masters Degree to become an Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and worked for 16 years in London and Brighton. During this time Karen was involved in teaching the next generation of midwives, paediatric and neonatal nurses.

Karen also contributed to a published nursing text on Neonatal nursing.

With a career spanning over two decades, Karen brings a wealth of knowledge in child health, clinical assessment, and family-centred care. Her calm, compassionate approach and commitment to best practice ensure that every child and family she supports receives the highest standard of care.

Claire Lafford is a highly skilled Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience working in Intensive Care Units (ICU). Her extensive clinical background has equipped her with exceptional expertise in critical care, patient safety, and complex health management.

Throughout her career, Claire has been recognised for her professionalism, calm under pressure, and deep compassion for patients and their families. She brings this same dedication and precision to her role at TopCare Nursing, where she continues to deliver outstanding, person-centred care.

Cassim Rasool (FCMA) is a distinguished Conscious Life and Health and Wellness Coach (HWC), Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher, and Master NLP Practitioner, accredited by ICF, AIP, BPS and PCI-NHS recognised programmes and certifications.

Cassim is a certified trainer, providing licentiate-level certification training in resilience and positive psychology and is a Practising Fellow of the Complementary Medical Association. This prestigious recognition reflects his advanced expertise and dedication to the fields of Complementary, Integrative Medicine and Natural Wellness.
